The City of Bozeman and the Beautification Advisory Board will present twelve Beautification Awards at a ceremony in the Baxter Hotel on Wednesday, Nov. 2 starting with refreshments at 6:30 and the ceremony beginning at 7PM.
The awards have been created to recognize properties and projects that demonstrate a keen commitment to beautifying the Bozeman community. This year the Board received over forty nominations and chose twelve outstanding projects. This year’s recipients are:

Church Street Connection Trail, Smokey & Cheryl Ott – Longtime care and beautification of an entrance to Main Street to the Mountains
Owenhouse Cycling & Ace Hardware – Attractive Storefront Re-Creation
1940 N 19th, Old Chicago – Outdoor Patio Oasis
439 N Black, Jeremy & Katy Mistretta – Remarkable Renovated Residence
624 S Tracy, Susie Mathre – Sculptured Landscape
E Lamme, Block M – Neighborhood Enhancement
226 S Black, Julie Scates – Creative Curb Appeal & Beautiful Historic Restoration
603 N Bozeman, Mitch Miller & Addie Foster – Amazing Neighborhood Addition
109 E Short St, Maurice (Moe) Witschard & Marlena Renwyck – Unique Residential Design and Use of Color
321 E Mendenhall, Bozeman Taproom – Adaptive Reuse
400 E Babcock, Thrive – Inviting Outdoor Atmosphere
“Bozeman is full of people who purposely choose to reinvest in their community and spend the extra resources to make beautiful projects. The Beautification Awards give the City of Bozeman an opportunity to recognize these community members and the resulting projects,” said Neighborhood Coordinator Jessica Johnson
The Beautification Advisory Board is one of several City of Bozeman’s advisory boards that are tasked with advising the City Commission and engaging with the community. The Board also puts on the annual Clean-Up Day held in April around Earth Day.
