Grammy Award winning guitarist JOHN JORGENSON and his bluegrass band, J2B2, return to The Ellen Theatre, Wednesday, May 11 at 7:30 PM. Considered by Los Angeles Times as “one of the most respected guitarists in the world”, Jorgenson is known for his blistering licks on guitar and mandolin and as well as his many collaborative projects with musical luminaries such as Elton John, Sting,
Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan, Lucian Pavarotti, Billy Joel and Barbara Streisand.
This May, Jorgenson takes the stage with J2B2, his all-star bluegrass supergroup featuring four legendary, award-winning musicians: John Jorgenson on
acoustic guitar, mandolin and vocals; Herb Pedersen on banjo, acoustic guitar,
and vocals; Mark Fain on bass; and Patrick Sauber on acoustic guitar and vocals.
