The Montana Faith and Environment Coalition (MFEC) is hosting the first annual Faith, Science & Climate Action Conference (FSCA). The conference opens with a banquet Friday evening and a free keynote by the Rev. Canon Sally Bingham, founder of Interfaith Power and Light. The Saturday conference will facilitate discussion among Montana faith leaders, scientists, and citizens through mini workshops on food security, landscape = health, solar power, community engagement, and motivating congregations for change.

The Saturday keynote “Why Climate Matters” features evangelical Christian and renowned atmospheric scientist, Dr. Katharine Hayhoe by live webinar, followed by MSU Institute on Ecosystems Director Dr. Bruce Maxwell, speaking on “Serious Impacts are Projected for Montana’s Climate”.
