Join the Students for Choice and the F-Word at MSU for The Future of Choice: Roe v. Wade at 46 Years. This panel discussion, in commemoration of Roe v. Wade’s 46th anniversary, will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. in the Procrastinator Theater, Strand Union Building on the MSU campus.  The panel, made up of MSU professors and Planned Parenthood of Montana staff, will focus on an analysis of the majority, concurring, and dissenting opinions in Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, and whether or not these rulings are in jeopardy; changes in ‘choice’ from abortion rights activism to the present;  past lessons from reproductive policies in China, Romania, Ireland and Poland;  and legislative updates, legislative trends to undermine Roe in MT and the U.S., the future of funding for patient care, and how people can engage in the process to preserve and expand access.  Sponsored by Students for Choice and the F-Word at MSU, this event is free and open to the public.
