Year-End Celebration Features Raise the Roof Band
Raise the Roof, a newly formed Bozeman dance band, is hosting an alcohol-free year-end celebration party on Friday, December 29th at the Senior Center, 807 N Tracy Ave. A delicious full-course meal is served from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m., with local musicians, including Kostas—an internationally renowned singer/songwriter— playing during dinner. Dance music is played immediately thereafter. Dance lessons and contests will be offered, and door prizes will be given away. Cost of the meal, including dessert, refreshments, gratuity, and dancing is $30 ($55 for couples), while the cost of the dance alone is $10. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the band’s website, www.raisetheroofband.com . Or, one can pay at the door, space permitting. Come and enjoy a year-end celebration without the cost and craziness of typical New Year’s Eve parties.
Dancers find Raise the Roof’s music irresistible. The eight-member band provides the perfect tunes for dancing, romancing, scooting and hooting… playing a variety of musical genres, including gospel, country rock, rhythm and blues, reggae, gospel and soul. Their milk-and-honey harmonies, soaring solos, and driving rhythm result in dancers flocking to the dance floor. Serious dancers appreciate that Raise the Roof’s music allows a wide variety of dance forms, including swing, jitterbug, Latin, country two-step, foxtrot and waltz, while always pleasing the basic party “get-up-and boogie” dancers.
Samples of the band’s music can be heard at their website, www.raisetheroofband.com, where you can also see a dinner menu for the event. Group pricing is also available… contact Paul Larson at (406) 570-7103 or email@example.com .
