Prospera Business Network and the City of Bozeman Announce Small Business Relief Fund

The City of Bozeman Coronavirus Small Business Local Relief Fund is aimed at helping small businesses in Bozeman stabilize and recover in 2021. The fund is especially interested in helping those businesses who are:

  • Impacted by COVID-19 health restrictions including reduced hours, reduced occupancy, or otherwise can demonstrate negative impacts because of health restrictions.
  • Dependent on in-person customers and have seen revenue decline due to COVID-19.
  • In need of stabilization of operations, improvement of business efficiency, and/or assistance with business recovery.

Area businesses located in the Bozeman city limits, are eligible to apply for a grant up to $10,000, or low interest microloan up to $30,000.  Businesses can only apply for either a grant or a loan, and information about the application process is on the Prospera Business Network website at prosperamt.org/covid-19. The application will not be live until Wednesday, January 20th at 8am.

As funding is limited, there will be multiple rounds of grants and microloans for eligible businesses to apply for starting Wednesday, January 20th. Applications for funding will be on a first-come, first-served basis.  A second round of funding will open on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
