Bozeman Symphony: SCHEHERAZADE

Join the Bozeman Symphony for our fifth classical series concert of the 2021/22 season, Scheherazade, on March 26 & 27, 2022! This thrilling performance opens with Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade, a delightfully colorful piece that transports listeners to the exotic 1001 Arabian Nights where Scheherazade mesmerizes her husband with suspenseful tales. The Symphony then performs for the first time for Bozeman audiences Elgar's enchanting Sea Pictures featuring powerhouse vocalist Sidney Outlaw, known for his rich and versatile baritone voice and engaging stage presence. Ending the program is Smetana's incredibly popular Vlatava (The Moldau) from Má Vlast, a symphonic poem that beautifully depicts the Czech countryside from where the composer was born.
