Fiber Connectivity Grant

The purpose of the Downtown Fiber Connectivity Grant Program is to facilitate connecting buildings and businesses to fiber networks in Bozeman’s Downtown Urban Renewal District (URD). To this end, the Downtown Fiber Connectivity Grant Program will provide partial reimbursement of the costs incurred to complete the “last mile” fiber connection to downtown buildings.

Life-Safety Grant Program

The Downtown Life-Safety Compliance Grant Program specifically seeks to provide financial assistance for the installation of dedicated fire lines for the purpose of complying with fire suppression and safety code requirements.

Residential Incentive Program

The purpose of the Downtown Residential Incentive Program is to encourage the creation of new residential units within Bozeman’s Downtown Urban Renewal District (Downtown URD). To this end, the Downtown Residential Incentive Program will provide partial reimbursement for residential-related impact fees for the creation of new downtown residential units.

Streetscape Assistance Program

The Streetscape Assistance Program provides property owners with reimbursement for the purchase and delivery of historic street lamps in accordance with the Downtown Streetscape Plan.

Technical Assistance Grant Program

The TAG Program supports current or potential developers, property owners, and tenants with financial assistance during the preliminary phases of possible redevelopment projects in the downtown URD. Grant monies are available to further stimulate investment in downtown Bozeman while encouraging a higher level of quality and design in the downtown environment.
