Feather Light by Richard Parrish is a new exhibit which incorporates both his signature large scale Tapestry Glass and his new technique which uses components from his earlier work, high temperatures, and weight to thin the fused glass. Richard was delighted when the final product resembled feathers that were surprisingly strong for their thinness. Richards work investigates the intersections and collisions between the natural and human imposed landscape and is concerned with both the physical and temporal conditions, rooted in the landscape of the intermountain west in the United States.
