The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Montana State University will present “Ninety Days: The 2023 Montana Legislature” for a Friday Forum on May 12 via Zoom. The event will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
The event will feature a panel discussion, a presentation and a Q&A session on the Montana State Legislature's 68th session, which is scheduled to adjourn May 5.
The panel will feature three reporters from the Montana Free Press: Amanda Eggert, who will speak on energy and environmental issues; Arren Kimbel-Sannet, who will discuss the executive branch, the judiciary and constitutional amendments; and Alex Sakariassen, who will talk about voter access and education.
Susan Dana, an MSU emerita professor of business law, will give a presentation on legislation most at risk to constitutional challenge. A Q&A session will follow.
