The Sweet Pea Festival Parade is one the largest and most popular parades in the state of Montana. The Sweet Pea Children’s Run will kick off the parade of colorful floats featuring this year’s theme: “Walking on Sunshine.” Continuing in 2023, DOGS (Bozeman’s favorite furry friends) may be part of the Parade. This year’s Dog Parade will lead the annual Sweet Pea Parade, occurring Saturday morning during the Festival.
The 2023 Dog Parade is sponsored by West Paw and Bella Group. The entry fee is $20 per dog with this year’s proceeds benefiting “Wag Kind.”Sweet Pea encourages canine participants to come dressed in their most creative finery; donning the Festival’s namesake flower is a bonus. Dogs must be well-behaved, leashed, able to withstand the stimulus of a large crowd, and tolerant of other dogs. Free to the public. The parade runs along Main St. between 8th Ave & Church.
