Verge Theater Presents: Fuddy Meers

FUDDY MEERS, follows our protagonist Claire (Nicole Wheeler), who has a rare form of psychogenic amnesia that erases her memory whenever she goes to sleep. There is her chipper husband (Elijah Boyd), her pot smoking daughter (Isabel Huston), her mother (Katie Mangett) – a recent stroke victim whose speech has been compromised, and a limping and lisping man in a ski mask, (Isaac Mills), who pops out from under her bed and claims to be her brother.

Reminiscent to Groundhog Day and Fifty First Dates, FUDDY MEERS promises an evening of laughter, hidden identities, and maybe a few tears. This irreverent comedy, and its assortment of character personalities, is a delightful assault on the senses. It’s funny, touching, and provocative, a spicey combination that makes for some winning theatre. Due to adult language and themes, this production is recommended for audiences aged 16+
