Gallatin Valley Land Trust NextGen Pedal Parade

Gather your pals and your whole family for a celebration of an amazing summer on the trails! Spin around in costume on your jazzed up bike and hit all the designated trail stops around town for chances to win outstanding prizes. Food and beer await your return.

Get raffle tickets at each scavenger hunt stop and answer trivia or complete challenges for extra tickets. Bring your tickets back to base camp to enter to win incredible prizes. BONUS tickets awarded for dog poop scoops!

The Pedal Parade is family friendly and special kids prizes will be available.

After the scavenger hunt, enjoy the company of trail lovin' friends, a costume contest, music, food, lawn games, local beer and community partners. Learn about how to stay safe with bears, how to save pollinators, and more!

This event is FREE and open to the public!

Rules and Timeline:

Use the map posted below or get your map at the Pedal Parade headquarters (GVLT parking lot, 212 S. Wallace) at 5:30pm.

From 5:45-6:45pm try to visit as many of the scavenger hunt stops as you can. Each stop will award you with one raffle ticket for getting there, and a potential raffle ticket for answering a trivia question or completing an optional challenge.

There are two bonus stops worth 2 raffle tickets.

Raffle tickets can also be earned by bringing back a full dog poop bag, 1 ticket per bag.

Once you arrive back at Pedal Parade headquarters, drop your tickets into the buckets for corresponding prizes.

At 7:00pm we'll draw the winners! Prizes will also be awarded for best costume and best decorated helmet

Enjoy music, dinner, lawn games, beer and ice cream with friends and family as the sun goes down!

Safety Note: Please wear helmets when participating in the Pedal Parade. While we know you want to hit every stop, please ride at your own risk and know that this is not a race. All regular trail etiquette applies. Yield to pedestrians, slow down at crossings, and let people know you're passing. GVLT is not responsible for your bike riding on the trails so please be careful and safe!
