Hit the trail and explore our Wild Backyard with the Greater Yellowstone Coalition!
Join us Sunday, September 29th for a hike up Porcupine Creek, just south of Big Sky and east of Highway 191. The hike will total 6 miles of rolling hills and is appropriate for most hikers. We'll leave the trailhead at 9am, return around 1pm, and will be following scenic Porcupine Creek. Our trek will take us into the Gallatin Wilderness Study Area for a chance to spot some wildlife while learning how we can help shape this place's future. All hikers must come prepared with appropriate clothing, close toed shoes, lunch, and plenty of water.
Participants must also RSVP to Ryan Cruz at rcruz@greateryellowstone.org by Friday September 27th, with spaces available on a first-come-first serve basis.
