SEEDING THE FUTURE: Youth, Wisdom and Food

Come together with neighbors and colleagues from across Montana for this special evening of insightful, powerful short talks from speakers who approach the reality of food - and the complexity of food systems - from entirely different perspectives. Speakers include Dr. Ricardo Salvador, Union of Concerned Scientists; Liz Carlisle, author of Lentil Underground; Jacy and Zachary Rothschiller, mother and son duo of Gallatin Valley Botanical at Rocky Creek Farm; Danielle Antelope, Co-Chair of FAST Blackfeet, Vanessa Bakken, Co-founder of Farmented Foods LLC - and so many more! This event is open to the public for a $10 registration fee and is FREE for MSU students with a valid student ID. The event features a Montana-sourced dessert buffet and a cash bar will be available. This event is made possible by MSU's Institute on Ecosystems, AERO, and Open & Local. Registration is available at https://seedingthefutureaero.eventbrite.com.
