At the next Café Scientifique community event, Christa Merzdorf, an associate professor of cell biology and neuroscience in Montana State University’s Department of Microbiology and Immunology, will discuss environmental factors affecting birth defects when she presents “Disrupting Development: The Hidden Story of Everyday Substances and Their Role in Birth Defects.” The event is hosted by MSU’s Montana INBRE program and will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at The Baxter in downtown Bozeman.
