Bozeman Business & Professional Women’s March 2020 Luncheon

Join us for our March 18th Luncheon, “Equal Pay Day Update” with James Henderson!

The 2020 Equal Pay Day Update will outline the City’s ongoing efforts to close the gender pay gap.
The presentation is an ongoing installment since 2017 whereby the city, with the assistance of BPW,
commemorate the date in each year when statistically women’s pay equals her male counterpart as of
January 1st of each year. The date is trending in the right direction and the City of Bozeman wants to do its
part in commemorating this date closer to January 1st.

The presentation is not just quoting statistics, but will outline practical ways the city will work towards
gender pay equity. James will also talk about different forms of outreach that will be employed to reach
more diverse groups that represent traditionally under-represented segments of our city. He will also
highlight the progress the city has made in the last year and identify areas to continue to focus on for
improvement.

James Henderson is the Human Resources Director for the City of Bozeman. He is originally from Dyersburg, Tennessee, and has been in Bozeman for close to a year. James has a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development form The University of Texas at Tyler, and holds senior certifications from SHRM, HRCI and IPMA-HR.
