Shelby Strickler is a born and raised Montanan who developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors from an early age. Growing up fishing, hiking, camping, and exploring the mountains and rivers of Montana instilled a lifelong respect for wildlife and the beauty of the outdoors.
Those experiences continue to shape Shelby's work as a wildlife artist. Drawing inspiration from the landscapes and animals of Montana and the American West, she strives to create paintings that capture not only the beauty and detail of her subjects, but also the emotion and atmosphere of the wild places they inhabit.
She hopes her artwork encourages others to slow down, appreciate the outdoors, and foster a deeper connection with the wildlife and landscapes that make Montana so extraordinary.
