The Gallatin Valley YMCA is now hiring for an Early Childhood Infant Teacher. This position of Early Childhood Infant Teacher will be under the direction of the Early Learning Director and will be responsible for the early education of all children in their care. Position Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $15.00-$17.00 / DOE Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday 7:15 am to 5:15 pm Core Job Responsibility: Develop and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences designed to educate and actively engage early learners. Examples of duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Model and teach developmentally appropriate behavior and interactions between children and adults. Provide daily care to meet the needs of every child enrolled. Adapt, as necessary, teaching strategies, methods, and materials to meet the individual needs and learning styles of every child. Develop and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, children, parents, and their families. Manage day-to-day classroom schedules, routines, and activities. Track and assess each child’s progress and share that information with parents. Help children to reach developmental milestones through active play.
