Under supervision of Company Manager and Shop Manager, Theatre Maintenance performs manual and semi-skilled maintenance for the Theatre. Typical Duties Performed: (These examples do not include all the duties) • Performs general maintenance of Theatre building • Ensuring all auditorium seats are in good working order and repairing broken ones in a timely manner. • Performs setup of equipment, tables and chairs for special events • Performs set construction and tear down after performances • Updates marquee with upcoming events • Remove snow or trash from front and back of building • Interface with Theatre Stage Tech and Theatre Tech Manager Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of: The use and maintenance of basic power and hand tools, equipment, materials and methods used in building maintenance. Related safety measures. Ability to: Work independently, Work various day, evening, night, week-end hours, use basic hand tools, equipment and materials used in building or ground maintenance work; perform manual labor and work requiring physical strength and dexterity; exercise good judgement, courtesy, with staff and the public, utilize quality customer service skills and techniques. Experience and Education: One year experience in general maintenance is required. Highschool graduate or the equivalent is required License or Certificate: Possession of a valid Montana Driver’s License
