Cardboard Box City’s goal is to give community members a chance to experience a night in the life of the homeless– outside, using cardboard and sturdy materials to shelter them from the elements.
For one night, kids, families, community groups, and more will sleep outside and brave the elements in a creatively designed, built, and decorated cardboard structure of their choosing. Games, DJ Justice, pizza, and more are provided! It’s fun, it’s educational, and best of all, it’s an experience that will leave a lasting impression.
Along with good times and real-world education, Cardboard Box City gives kids and families the opportunity to serve homeless families by raising money. Every kid is challenged to raise $100 to support Family Promise!
