Join artist Katherine L Wright for a 6-hour workshop exploring compositional strategies for landscape artists. Katherine will draw upon works by Iain Stewart Watercolors, Richard Diebenkorn, and Thomas Aquinas Daly, for inspiration and insight.
Key elements include:
- Focal point
- Composition and horizon placement
- Proportions
- Shapes and values (light and dark) to establish depth and interest
This Level 2 class is perfect for those with some painting experience (Beginning Painting or similar). Open to watercolor, gouache, acrylic and water-soluble oil. Come ready to deepen your understanding and take your color skills further.
