September 13, 2025 @ 2:00pm - 3:00pm

The Extreme History Project is excited to announce the grand opening of an exhibit on one of Montana’s most influential writers, Bertha Muzzy Bower (1871-1940)! Bertha began her career by writing down her experiences as the wife of a Montana cowboy. Under the pen name B.M. Bower, she was one of the first women to publish mass-market Western fictions. Over her 40-year career, she wrote 68 novels and hundreds of short stories that millions of people enjoyed across the nation. This exhibit will focus on her complex life—a story that is just as fascinating and dramatic as the plots of her novels.

The exhibit will open to the public on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Extreme History Project headquarters (234 E Mendenhall Street, Bozeman, Montana 59715). Please check out our website for more information: https://extremehistoryproject....
