Country Bookshelf is delighted to welcome eight women elders from our community to share their work in the new anthology Women Elders Speak.
Tune in for an evening of storytelling with Jo Anne Troxel, Adele Pittendrigh, June Safford, Collette Hops, Jan Matney, Mary Beth Green, Jane Jelinsky & Beth Sirr as they share their reflections on the beginnings of the Covid-19 Pandemic collected in the new anthology Women Elders Speak.
A collection of forty voices from the Bozeman and broader Montana community, Women Elders Speak is a collection of generously-shared experiences from the beginning of the pandemic, reflecting on an extraordinary moment in time. This anthology also combats the subtle, and not so subtle, forces that tell women, especially older women, that their value and experiences are without value.
Registration is required. Visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/country-bookshelf-presents-women-elders-speak-tickets-133898597309 to sign up, and add a copy of Women Elders Speak when you do!
