A mixed-media art exhibit featuring the work of Todd Anderson. The exhibition will be on display through November, with a closing reception on the evening of Nov. 20th.
Artist Statement: For the past fifteen years, my art practice has revolved around a single question: how can art most effectively frame and respond to global heating? My answer has been to create bodies of work that document ecological crises—particularly glacial retreat and the melting of ice driven by climate change. Situated between the turbulence of our 21st-century environmental emergency and nostalgic visions of a once stable natural world, these artworks seek to reflect our contemporary moment with clarity and empathy. Over time, I hope they will serve as quiet witnesses—helping future generations understand the challenges humanity faced in the early 21st century.
