Saturday, September 26, 2020 (all day)
Saturday, September 26th, Family Promise is holding its first Night Without a Bed challenge. We are challenging our supporters to spend one night without their bed and spread the word about family homelessness in America. Many of you have attended Cardboard Box City at least once over the past 14 years, but the time has come to move towards a new way to generate even more awareness around ending family homelessness in the Gallatin Valley and to have fun as a community.
How to Sleep Out:
On Saturday, September 26, we ask participants to sleep anywhere without a bed: a car, a tent, a treehouse, your living room floor, or a couch and use the hashtag #NightWithoutABedGV to post a video or a photo on social media. We will stay connected throughout the night with photo and video challenges, prizes, and more! All participants (groups or individuals) are challenged to raise at least $100.
How To Raise Money:
Create your GiveGab Fundraising Account to begin your peer-to-peer fundraising for Family Promise of Gallatin Valley.
Help us raise $25,000 and raise awareness in the fight against family homelessness.
Sleep anywhere without a bed and share with us your evening of fun on social media - #NightWithoutABedGV- Post videos and pictures.
You are our most passionate supporters! By sharing your connection to Family Promise with your neighbors, friends, and family, you can help Family Promise cast a wider net or outreach and optimize your fundraising goals.
Challenge your friends, family, and community:
In addition to posting on social media, we ask you to challenge one other friend to complete #NightWithoutABedGV or make a donation to Family Promise.
Reminders and more info will be sent your way in the days and weeks to come!
