Join Opera Montana Artistic Director Michael Sakir for a robust, in-depth conversation about E.L. Doctorow's 1975 novel RAGTIME which inspired the Tony Award-winning musical.
Book Club members will learn more about the real-life people and places that appear in the historical fiction and how playwright Terrence McNally, lyricist Lynn Ahrens, and composer Stephen Flaherty translated this epic story to the stage. Each book club meeting will culminate in a special performance from the cast of Opera Montana's production.
