The 24th Annual Cruisin' on Main Car Show in Downtown Bozeman will be Sunday, August 18th, 2023 from 9 AM - 2 PM! If you are interested in being a Food Vendor for this year's Cruisin' on Main Car Show, please complete the application below. Please note, vendor space is limited; we will review applications and be in touch with details in August.

RULES, REGULATIONS, & VENDING POLICIES:

  1. Fees: The cost for vending at Cruisin' on Main is $100. You may pay online or via check. Checks can be made payable to DBA (Downtown Bozeman Association) and dropped off or mailed to 222 East Main Street, Suite 302, Bozeman, MT 59715.
    1. Please DO NOT pay your vending fee until you have been confirmed to vend. Vendor space is limited; we will review applications and be in touch with details in August.
    2. Please note that due to the nature of this event, no refunds will be given.
  2. Event Timing: If chosen as a vendor, you will be emailed an event map with your location and additional details. You must be set-up and ready to serve by 10:30 AM and vend until 2 PM.
  3. You will be responsible for having a trash receptacle next to your booth and providing your own signage to display the items prices of the items you are selling.
  4. We are encouraging all vendors to move towards using compostable materials. Our composting partner accept all meat, dairy, and vegetable scraps and BPI Certified compostable service ware ("BPI-certified," "ASTM D6400", or "TUV Austria OK Compost Industrial" materials).
    1. We are able to provide a discount to vendors looking to purchase compostable service ware. Please reach out for more details.
  5. Please be advised that alcohol sales are prohibited.
  6. You must have a current vending license issued by the Gallatin County Health Department. As required by all licensed food vendors, your station must include a hand washing station and you must follow the proper food handling policies outlined in your license.
  7. As of January 1, 2024, all mobile Food Vendors must complete an annual Food Truck Safety Inspection by the Bozeman Fire Department. Proof of this inspection is required in order to vend at Cruisin' on Main. More information can be found under the "Mobile Food Vending" tab on the city's website.
    1. Vendors using a tent canopy will be required to move any "Open Flame" cooking devices out from under the canopy itself and have appropriate portable fire extinguishers for the cooking type (2A10BC or 2A10BC AND Type K if cooking with oil/grease).
  8. The event cannot be responsible for specific electrical power needs. If you have a generator, you may use it but please do not block any sidewalks and cover ALL extension cords with duct tape and REMOVE duct tape at the end of the event.

Completing this registration does NOT ensure you a vending position at the Cruisin' on Main Car Show. Vendor space is limited; we will review applications and be in touch with details in August.


Once confirmed, you must submit a copy of Liability Insurance with the Downtown Bozeman Association and the City of Bozeman listed as additionally insured. Please send the copy of liability insurance to cache@downtownbozeman.org or mail to 222 East Main Street, Suite 302, Bozeman, MT 59715.

Indemnification: By execution of this Application, the undersigned Cruisin on Main Vendor and/or its representative and agents release and hold harmless the Downtown Bozeman Association (DBA), its staff, directors and representatives, as well as the City of Bozeman, its employees and representatives, from any claim that is made against or by the undersigned Cruisin on Main Vendors as a result of participating in the Cruisin on Main event on Main Street of Bozeman, Montana on the dates contracted. The undersigned Cruisin on Main Vendor further agrees to indemnify the Downtown Bozeman Association, as well as the City of Bozeman, for any costs or damages either may suffer as a result of any acts or omissions by the undersigned Cruisin on Main Vendor, its principals, agents, representatives, or employees. This indemnification will include not only the damages claimed by any person who suffers a personal injury, or damage to property, but also all court costs and attorney fees incurred by any indemnitee. Prior to erection of a food booth on Main Street by Cruisin on Main Vendor, Cruisin on Main Vendors agrees to carefully inspect the area of vendor’s booth for any unforeseen hazards and will also independently verify that any services provided by the DBA, the City of Bozeman for Cruisin on Main Vendor’s use before during, or after Cruisin on Main are safe and appropriate for such use before commencement of actual use. Failure on the part of Cruisin on Main Vendor to independently verify that such services are safe and appropriate shall be deemed a waiver of Cruisin on Main Vendor’s right to maintain an action against DBA or the City of Bozeman, to the fullest extent allowed by law. The undersigned Cruisin on Main Vendor agrees to comply with Cruisin on Main vending rules and regulations.
