When Main Streeters get together, it’s magic. And when they gather for the largest convening of place professionals, the energy is electric. From the Welcome Reception to the Big Bash, attendees find a plethora of celebratory moments — big and small — that leave them feeling rejuvenated, energized, and inspired to take their organization’s Main Street efforts to the next level!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Montana Main Street Program (MMSP), Cache Maples, Program Director for the Downtown Bozeman Partnership, attended the prestigious Main Street Now Conference in Philadelphia. The event, a national gathering of professionals dedicated to downtown development and economic growth, provided invaluable insights and networking opportunities.
Held annually, Main Street Now brings together leaders from across the country to share strategies for strengthening local economies and preserving historic character. This year’s conference, held April 7-9th, featured over 100 sessions, including inspiring plenaries, immersive mobile workshops, and engaging educational sessions designed to strengthen networks and provide practical solutions for community challenges. Key themes of the 2025 conference included fostering a healthy Main Street movement by encouraging deeper connections, exploring innovative approaches, and creating a sustainable movement where everyone can thrive.
With MMSP’s support, Maples participated in various sessions and workshops, engaged with industry leaders, and explored innovative revitalization models, bringing back fresh ideas to enhance their own community’s Main Street initiatives. The grant underscores MMSP’s commitment to fostering sustainable economic development across Montana, ensuring that small towns remain vibrant and resilient.
