The Montana Downtown & Main Street Conference, hosted by Downtown Bozeman, Downtown Livingston, and the Montana Department of Commerce's Montana Main Street Program, is seeking presentation proposals from dynamic and knowledgeable speakers who can inspire, educate, and deliver pertinent content.
The Downtown Bozeman and Livingston crew is excited to bring you the Montana Downtown & Main Street Conference 2024. This year's conference is hosted in not one, but TWO incredible downtowns - Bozeman & Livingston!
This annual conference gathers over 150 business and community development professionals to network, share knowledge, and inspire each other. The 2024 conference theme is "Connecting Our Montana's Main Streets" and will take place in Bozeman and Livingston, Montana, from October 23-25, 2024.
If you are interested or know someone who would be a great fit, please submit your proposal and help shape the future of Montana's Downtown and Main Street communities. Please note, all Break-Out Panel Presenters will receive registration to the Montana Downtown Conference, meals included ($250 value).
We are looking for proposals that focus on Downtown and Main Street issues for both urban and rural communities, and fit within the following topics:
Conference Topics:
- Public Art and Placemaking
- Implementing Public-Private Partnerships
- Digital Marketing and Branding
- Event Coordination and Fundraising
- Walkable and Accessible Districts
- Economic Development Strategies/Organizational Structure
- Business, Community Support and Collaboration
- Signage and Wayfinding
Conference Sessions Types:
- Larger Panel-Style Breakout with Facilitator.
- You will receive questions and topics in advance in order to prepare. Bio and background information must be submitted. No presentation needed.
- Small Panel-Style Breakout with 3, 15-min presentations and facilitated Q&A to follow.
- Bio and background information must be submitted. Presentations must be sent to ellie@downtownbozeman.org by Oct. 11 for technical preparations.
