Kendrick Ostergaard

World Tree Forge is a self-run architectural and sculptural forge. It is the passion project of Kendrick Ostergaard an amateur blacksmith and craftsman. Kendrick is a self-taught blacksmith learning all that he knows through trial & error, and a little help from YouTube. For several years World Tree Forge has produced anything from coat hooks to axes and knives. The forge is currently run out of their garage in Belgrade MT.

"By combining raw materials such as metal, wood, glass, and stone, you can discover beauty all around you. World Tree Forge’s goal is to take these materials and turn them into beautiful works of art that can be enjoyed by everyone. He uses nature and his life experiences as inspiration for this artwork.

Blacksmithing has become a major outlet for him and a way to bring back a part of History. He shares this passion with others by letting them work in his shop and showing others his art. By making his art they hope to keep this trade alive."
