Liz Chappie-Zoller
Liz Chappie-Zoller is a contemporary mixed media artist best known for embellishing her rurally-sourced equine and avian images with the urban-based graffiti she collects from trains passing through the remote river valley of her Three Forks MT home. She creates her art to explore the overlapping edges of traditional symbolism and diverse cultures, in support of her core belief that what we have in common is much greater than what divides us.
Liz has been an Officier Académicienne at Mondial Art Academie (France) since 2014, a member of the Society of Equestrian Artists (UK), the American Association of Equine Art, Oil Painters of America, and American Women Artists. Having taught Interior Design at Montana State University for just shy of ten years, Liz recently completed her tenth year of coaching for the Montana Arts Council’s Montana Artrepreneur Program (MAP), an NEA-recognized business development course for visual artists.
