Kelley Sullivan

As a mixed media painter Kelley carries a strong belief that art should evoke a powerful response, with feelings deeply personal to each viewer. With nature as the heart of her inspiration, she aims to create a complex, emotional landscape by building layer upon layer; dipping, soaking, and drenching the canvas after each application of paint until images emerge. Final details are created with charcoal, oil pen, and other mixed media.

Kelley’s pieces “Angels and Monkeys”, "Sojourn", and "Those Among Us" have been published in mixed media coffee table books. Kelley was awarded the first place for painting award at the Ridgway Art Show just outside of Telluride, CO., and won the “Emerging Artist” award through Best of the Northwest in Fall of 2019. In 2022 Kelley received the Bozeman Choice Award for Best Local Artist. Many of her paintings can be found in private collections throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
