‘Classic drinks in ode to classic Bozeman Restaurants that are no more’
Located in the current Ted’s Montana Grill space in the Baxter Hotel. The Robin had history dating back to the 1940’s and was a popular lounge bar which closed its doors in 2008.
Classic cosmopolitan. Vodka, Cointreau, lime and cranberry. $11
Boodles was a staple in downtown Bozeman and was ahead of its time with great food, drinks, and company. Located on the 200 block of main street, many describe our sister restaurant, J.W. Heist, as reminding them of the old Boodles and we are grateful to be associated.
Vesper cocktail. Gin, Vodka, Lillet Blanc. $13
(Located on North 7 th St., Ferraros has a deep rooted family and a rich history as The classic Italian restaurant and a popular “Prom-night locale” for Bozeman High Schoolers).
Italian spritz-aperol, prosecco and soda. $11
Spanish Peaks Brewery was one of the first breweries in Bozeman, opening in 1991. It was originally located just north of the current Safeway on 19th street and had a black lab named “Chug” as it’s mascot. Although there are no Spanish Peaks beer available anymore, Todd Scott (owner of Bozone Brewery) was the head brewer at SP for a decade so this felt appropriate/as close as we could get to the black dog ale. $6
The Stockyard Café building is still intact and looks about the same as it did when it closed 8years ago. It is located on the corner of Griffin and Story Mill Rd. and was known for its down-home cooking and no-nonsense service. We still wish for its resurrection someday. They didn’t serve alcohol but plenty of coffee.
Vodka, espresso, crème de cacao, cream. $14
Don’t forget to ask your server for a Downtown Bozeman Restaurant Week punch card.
