Matt Paris
Matt Paris is a Bozeman based artist who is inspired by nature, patterns, connections, and the oddities found in this weird world we live upon. He can be found hiking the hills, mountains, rivers and forests in his backyard of Montana or some other distant location on the globe, often with a snowboard in his hand or on his back. Growing up in North Dakota with an inquisitive eye he moved from the plains and the badlands to the mountains of Big Sky Country in the year 2000 and he has been wandering the west ever since. He works in printmaking, painting and collage; often combining these mediums to produce artwork that exposes and questions the beauty and connections of the Natural World. He will displaying new hand embellished woodblock prints and some original geometric styled acrylic paintings of local Montana mountain landscapes.
